Five dimensions of register variation in Egyptian

How Egyptian texts differ in register can be measured by counting which linguistic features tend to occur together. Done across the texts of the TLA, it shows which texts share a register, and that the dividing lines often run not between texts but through them.

Claims about the Egyptian genitive, checked against the whole TLA

Jansen-Winkeln and Werning both made claims about when Egyptian uses the direct and when the indirect genitive. What 16,812 attestations from the TLA make of them: one confirmed, one narrowed to a couple of formulas, one not there at all.
